[Bug 749405] New: different netstat behaviour
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=749405 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=749405#c0 Summary: different netstat behaviour Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mt@suse.com ReportedBy: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I just needed proper netstat output for IPv6 connections. While searching using Google I found references to Debian and Ubuntu reports about a new parameter -W/--wide making that possible. Unfortunately I haven't found that on my openSUSE systems. Searching further I found bug 637490 where openSUSE added the -T option to achieve that. Is it really wanted to have different netstat behaviour across Linux distributions? Then I've checked where we get our net-tools upstream and found different references. Not quite sure which upstream is the "correct" one but apparently there is one on http://net-tools.sourceforge.net/ At least the code in the Sourceforge GIT there has the --wide option already. Wouldn't it make sense to streamline our net-tools package? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
