[Bug 1223460] New: Btrfs-cleaner causes Pageflip timeout on kde mobile
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1223460 Bug ID: 1223460 Summary: Btrfs-cleaner causes Pageflip timeout on kde mobile Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: monkeyboyted@yahoo.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- I believe you should consider a different scheduler other than None for btrfs with snapper. I am running kde plasma mobile and btrfs-cleaner will hang the DE while it runs. Fortunately, the problem will fix itself after a minute or two. I do not care too much about the CPU usage. I havn't tried kyber, mq-deadline, or bfq to see whether it solves the issue. Improvement but it doesn't solve the issue yet. Kwin does not complain about pageflip, but it does complain about input. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
