[Bug 943305] New: systemd leaves a `systemd --user' sessions even if user ain't logged in
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=943305 Bug ID: 943305 Summary: systemd leaves a `systemd --user' sessions even if user ain't logged in Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: nettezzaumanaa@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello geeko minions, Systemd™ doesn't always terminate a user session when user logs out, that it looks like this: # w|grep ^joe # ps -ef | grep ^joe joe 18297 1 0 14:58 ? 00:00:00 /usr/lib/systemd/systemd --user joe 18299 18297 0 14:58 ? 00:00:00 (sd-pam) # userdel -r joe userdel: user joe is currently used by process 18297 In this case, manual `pkill -u joe' is required to be able to (for example) delete his user account .. Also interesting point is, that it doesn't happen every time, I reproduced it in say 40% cases via: * add some user (joe) via useradd and set pwd for him * log in to his account from /dev/ttyX (ctrl+alt+Fx) * logout immediately if `systemd --user' session for him exists * check, that systemd --user session remains ... regards, daniel -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
