What is the solution? This is a distribution issue. LXQt gets installed by default with picom as compositor, but the incompatible config tool compton-conf is being installed alongside. That is confusing an makes for a broken experience out of the box. Best would be to either: - package and default install the compatible picom-conf tool (https://github.com/qtilities/picom-conf) - take out the compton-conf config tool altogether because it does not serve any purpose anymore other than confusing people like me (clueless newbie with LXQt) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
