I am testing it, using it with Scribus and while it works with Scribus fine, it is not ready for 10.3. The release to go for will be 8.60. If it were ready, I'd have it packaged on the build server. :) There remains some fixing and testing to be done. For example the GTK2 bits will not compile yet. To help move this along, I'll be happy to provide a backport package in my build server repo when it can be done.
