well, I think inst-sys also have parted, so maybe I can modify code to use parted from inst-sys and do not need it on target machine. Is it solution for you?
I think this is a very good solution. But in the end I don't care how we solve it. But if openSUSE offers you a "Minimal text mode system" to select, it should be installable and not fail to install. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hmm, I cannot reproduce it ( minimal installation and still works). Can you please provide logs from failed installation? I need logs from save_y2logs utility to get also content of target system logs.
Sorry, no, that was on my netbook, where I couldn't copy any files from due to some other problems and and had to do a new installation with parted installed. But this is what I had done: - It was an EFI system. - I used an existing, formated vfat partition as /boot/EFI, which was not marked as EFI boot partition. - I told the partitioner to change the ID of that partition to EFI. When writing the bootloader, I got the message, that parted could not be found, and if I remember correct, this was something about setting flags. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
