Don't you have multiple kernel-devel packages? For example, what shows when
you run "rpm -q kernel-devel" on your system?
Also, do you have kernel-default-devel package on your system?
Basically kernel-default-devel package has the dependency on kernel-devel with
the same version and the same release numbers, and kernel-default-devel has
also the dependency onto kernel-default. So, with these relations, the latest
kernel packages should be aligned.
Of course, with the multi-version systems, you have multiple kernel-* packages,
but it's not the problem by itself.
