Hmm do you happen to know the last working driver version? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Reporter, do you have the same symptoms as bug 1086199?
No, this image scales up/down just fine. But UI hardware acceleration causes screen to freeze and playback in other tabs to stop for fraction of second. For example, hovering mouse over youtube video displays controls (opacity transition), during which interface often freezes for a split second. Also, CPU load hovering mouse in and out of video causes very high CPU load: 20% according to kde system monitor and 180% according to chrome task manager. Also, chrome task manager reports 36% CPU usage for GPU process. Also to note, this bug may be caused by wrong hw state. After first stuttering, I can hover mouse over youtube videos or do some other hw-accelerated UI transitions without any freezes for some time. I recently experienced UI stutter, this may have caused image to scale up/down without freezes.
Hmm do you happen to know the last working driver version?
I am not 100% sure, but it seems to be NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-384.111. I downloaded it after trying to fix UI freezes for one day and used it since. I tried to switch to driver from official repository last weekend, UI still would freeze, so I reported this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Reporter, are you using Chromium (from the openSUSE repo) or Google Chrome?
Just tried chromium - no problem with this image from wiki. But issue with CSS transitions is more severe. Moving mouse quickly over and out of videos on youtube drops fps below 1, even system cursor freezes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
