[Bug 1044747] marble reproducibly crashes when adding a bookmark while UTM is set for view angle
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1044747 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1044747#c10 --- Comment #10 from Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> --- (In reply to Dirk Weber from comment #9)
In which unit the coordinate is stored in the bookmark entry is not relevant for me. So far it seems created bookmark locations are displayed correctly also when the view angle is different from the one in which the bookmark was created.
I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea about this (actually I didn't even know this option exists until now), but I would think that those are just different "visual" representations and stored in a "generic" way internally.
BTW: (possible hint for upstream) as mentioned in the bug description adding/creating a measure point works while in UTM mode. I did not find yet where this happens, but this seems to be a similar functionality, and maybe adding a bookmark could be done likewise (maybe it just uses DMS in this case).
Creating a measure point doesn't open a dialog to adjust the coordinates (amongst other things). It's the dialog that causes the crash if set to UTM (because an input handler is not set in that case, as you found out). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
