Even if you have a fast and stable FTP there will like be some connection problems. So you can't just leave a computer on installing over a FTP but have to watch it and click "Ok" once in a while to retry a failed download. The same is true if you later add a FTP as a source in yast. It would be much better if yast could automatically retry 5-10 times before prompting the user.
