So does xbacklight work?
xbacklight returns no errors when I type xbacklight -set 50. The expected result is an adjustment in the brightness to 50% but this does not happen. The kde gui controls show that the system thinks that indeed 50% has been set even though no actual change in brightness has taken place. Typing xbacklight -get after the 50 command returns 42.857 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
