Though the problem was detected with SLES 11 glibc, the bug is present in SLES10 SP1 *glibc code* too. But unfortunately it doesn't get triggered somehow. (may be due to the lib segment sizes). We are not sure, if this would be triggered by some other applications. So, we feel that the fix should be picked up in SLES10 to avoid the problem hitting after the SP1 has been GAed.
