After the fix for https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1079672 there is still an issue left: After logout/login I first get the error message(s) "no password provided/wlan deactivated", but then kwallet opens, asks for the password and the connection is established (TW20180311 with KDE Plasma 5.12.3).
FYI I'm having this same issue in Leap 15. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Any news? NM will now be default in TW for non-server installations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

A debugging log will be very helpful.
Simply add
[logging] level=debug to /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf to enable debugging information. Attach the log file here.
Thanks.
Note that I already debugged that and wrote this in the original bug report:
That appears to be a different issue and should be filed separately: NM sets the connection status to failed when it tries to enable the connection > before the agent is registered. At that point the applet got started and shows > the message.

Here is a test rpm, can someone try if this fixes the issue?

If you mean nm-fix-autoconnect.patch, that is intentional upstream... See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=794014#c5 for the discussion.
Switchung to your repo does not solve the issue at all. However, autoconnect works as expected, contrary to comment 13 (https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1084943#c13). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

With latest update, NM connects automatically. Was this fixed upstream? Or something else happened.
But the original issue described here still persists or is it gone? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The wps method for your Wi-Fi connection is set to pbc somehow. So NM is waiting for you to push the wps button on your router. So maybe that's a real problem than NM for some reason sometimes switches to

Simple run
nmcli connection modify CONNECTION_NAME wifi-sec.wps-method default and the issue should go away. `nmcli connection show ...` doesn't show that option, is it right, is it alias? There is `802-11-wireless-security.wps-method: 0 (default)` and it was in default...
Anyway, I've run that command, no error. Off/on 1st time — ok, relogined — not ok, from 2nd attempt. Off/on 2nd time — not ok, 2nd attempt. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
