Actual Results: gst-launch fails as described in Details above Expected Results: video capture displayed in a window I'm trying to setup a 64-bit development system for a gstreamer based application. Ubuntu 9.10 is missing too many tools and I can't find its gstreamer source code. Fedora Core seemed to have everything I need, but crashed twice while trying to install all the bits and pieces I need so I wiped it and installed openSUSE 11.2. Open SUSE seems to have the pieces I need, but is missing a few I'd like, got the gstreamer sources for reference but can't get to first base testing things.
