I've use Meta-x load-library tramp Ctrl-h Ctrl-f /ssh:testhost:/etc/hosts and it has worked flawless ... How do you use tramp? I'd run emacs, in X, with -q so I didn't have an environment. I'd use Ctrl-x Ctrl-f type /ssh: It would say "loading tramp...done" Then I would finish with example.com:~/ I'd hit tab for completion and it would attempt to ask for my password, at which point it would say "Command attempted to use minibuffer while in minibuffer". Since I compiled 23, even 22 works correctly. I'm on PPC on an ibook G4. Emacs 22 jumps from the mini buffer alot in my experience on this machine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
