It hasn't worked since then. The bug reports in Pidgin databases are here: http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/12977 http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/12990 The problem is you can't send/receive files, custom emoticons or display pictures to/from contacts using the latest versions of Windows Live Messenger. I attached a patch that makes things work again for pidgin 2.7.10.
