The install starts, but it can't load the GUI. There's no timeout or fallback to text mode. Egbert, why does X needs to access this socket anyway? Normally dbus could/should get used to get informed about e.g. a battery switch. Unfortunately we lost our 5200 and need to buy one on ebay before I can try to reproduce this issue. :-( This just happened. So I can test the vesa driver now myself.
