Daniel Schmidt <jdsn@novell.com> 2009-11-13 19:55:26 MST --- We (internally) use our own (external) regcodes for the tests, I assume you as well. These regcodes were generated for SLE10 but allow to register all SLE products and we can register as many as we want. I think there is just some magic that comes into place when our special regcodes are detected. So for a real test of NCC we need to try it with real SLES11 regcodes, and we need to create a new Novell-Account with an unused eMail address. Eric, are my guesses correct? Do you see any chance providing us WebYaST developers with a list of (lets say 100) real external SLES11 regcodes that behave like the ones we sell to customers? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=555240 --- Comment #3 from Eric Layton <elayton@novell.com> 2009-11-16 16:53:53 UTC --- The "Installed Products" count in NCC does not count the base OS. So if you registered just SLES, it will read 0. If you registered SLES and OES, it will read 1. The fact that the system shows that it needs activation probably means that the SLES code used was invalid, typo'ed, or left out. The registration web page will catch the first two errors, but not the last. A command line registration will not catch any of these, and the registration will appear as though it worked. Your personal registration codes should work fine, but I can provide some test codes. I will do so in the next comment. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
