[Bug 566870] New: obs-worker: clean up /srv/obs/workers
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566870 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566870#c0 Summary: obs-worker: clean up /srv/obs/workers Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@medozas.de QAContact: adrian@novell.com CC: mls@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- On shutdown of obsworker, we should probably clean /srv/obs/workers. Otherwise, files stay around when architecture changes (1) or the number of workers is later reduced. (1) Happened to me by experimenting: linux32 rcobsworker start rcobsworker stop rcobsworker start => Server status (/old) will display localhost/1:i586 to localhost/8:x86_64 as idle even though they are no longer there, and only localhost/1:x86_64 to localhost/8:x86_64 practically exist. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you have remote workers, you mustn't touch the directory. Actually it should work different: the obsworker shutdown should tell the reposerver that the workers are gone, the reposerver then clears the corresponding entries from the directory. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
