[Bug 257361] New: wrong branding when displaying newly added update server
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=257361 Summary: wrong branding when displaying newly added update server Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com While updating to 10.2, there's a dialog showing the newly added update server. In my case, I got the following dialog: New Update Server http://suse.inode.at/pub/update/10.2?alias=SUSE-Linux-10.2-Updates [OK] The alias has a wrong branding - it should be "openSUSE-10.2-Updates".
From the y2log (found while grepping for "suse.inode.at" and "alias"): SourceManager.ycp:1334 Should add an update source: http://suse.inode.at/pub/update/10.2?alias=SUSE-Linux-10.2-Updates
(full y2logs on request - but I don't think they are really needed here ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But changing this now is dangerous, when we do not want to break future update to 10.3 . We decided to stay with this string for 10.2 . I have changed it for 10.3 . So I will close this bug as wontfix. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
