I have a ASUS DH Remote, a "digital" HID device with several keys. I can use it, if I use the "hard" way to set it up, starting with /etc/lircd.conf and at the end using KDE's irkick ... /proc/bus/usb/devices: .. I myself does not know how to control volume for all apps.
