From the traces, it appears that it is gdb (not evolution) that crashed and nothing more. Can you please try if you can get better traces by starting evo from under gdb as against attaching to the process ? Also, let me know the type of accounts (IMAP/GW..) you have enabled in your system Thanks in Advance.

I started evolution outside gdb and attached the process while it was hanging. I will try to get more. Appeared to be an indefinite poll on the main thread while activating the Alarm notify process. The Addressbook applet had some problem with bonobo activation too. The application ran normally when I disabled the Alarm Notify Bonobo server and failed to start when I added it back. However, I had to restart the machine for testing a different bug on SLED 10 partition and could not be reproduced again when I came back. For me it ocurred for during very first login after 10.1->10.2 beta1 update.
