# zypper in epiphany: NEW packages to install epiphany
That's what you're asking for.
epiphany-branding-openSUSE
Branding package, that's what we do in openSUSE to change branding.
gnome-icon-theme
Might be abusive, but I think it's needed to make sure all icons used by epiphany are installed.
libavahi-gobject0
Epiphany uses avahi to display websites discovered by dns-sd.
libffi45
Dep of libgirepository.
libgeoclue0
Dep of webkit (for HTML5 location-awareness).
libgirepository-1_0-0
Dep of libseed.
libgnomekeyring0
Needed by epiphany to remember the passwords.
libicu
Dep of webkit (for i18n).
libseed0
Library used by epiphany to write extensions.
libsoup-2_4-1
Dep of webkit (to fetch data on the network).
libwebkit-1_0-2
Obviously needed.
I can understand the need for libwebkit & I guess maybe gnome icons & epiphany extensions, but why all that other stuff just to test web pages in a Webkit browser with a familiar UI (Epiphany used to use Gecko before switching to Webkit)?
I really see nothing unreasonable in this list. Can you elaborate on what you think is bad? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
