What I have to add is the following: - this problem occurs not only after hibernating (suspending to disk), but also after suspend-to-ram and after rebooting. - This problem did not exist after installing openSUSE 11.4 (dist upgrade from 11.3). The first time it occured only recently, some days ago, probably after some online update. I'm not even sure this is a KDE-client issue since in other cases it was either NetworkManager or some kernel module that causes the issues.
