Running the command:- rpm -qf /lib/modules/2.6.22.18-0.2-default/weak-updates/snd-hda-intel.ko produces the result:- file /lib/modules/2.6.22.18-0.2-default/weak-updates/snd-hda-intel.ko is not owned by any package Does this help? Thank you for your help. I will sort out the hsf modem driver sometime as it is not mandatory for me at present. Best wishes.
