In reality 2 cpus are installed (4 cores each). The cpu and core count shows up properly in gkrellm and hwinfo, but not in 'system monitor'. For some reason, on this system there looks like only 5 active cpus to the /proc/cpuinfo file, yet at boot time it shows 8.
