https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=730098 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=730098#c0 Summary: Apper in 12.1rc2 seems to be failing to update even after authentication is given Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: HP OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: roger.luedecke@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=461838) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=461838) Apper messages, clearly one or the other can't be true. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:7.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0.1 Apper was going to run update. Asked for authentication which was given. Then gave two messages, one that it was succesful and another saying it failed. Apper has a Janus complex. Reproducible: Didn't try Expected Results: Seeing as KPackageKit has never behaved quite right, I really am not sure. I would assume it would work fairly akin to YaST software manager. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
