[Bug 496730] New: Dependency problems with eGroupware
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=496730 Summary: Dependency problems with eGroupware Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: thelordofsith@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.20 (X11; Linux i686; U; en) There are some dependency problems with packages in the repository /repositories/server:/eGroupWare/openSUSE_11.0 (1) Package eGroupware-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm requires "php5". That's ok, package php5 provides "php5". But package eGroupware-core-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm requires "/usr/bin/php". That causes dependency errors because php5 doesn't provides this. (2) Packages eGroupware-filemanager-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm, eGroupware-gallery-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm and eGroupware-mydms-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm require "egw-pear 1.6.001". However package eGroupware-egw-pear-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm provides (only) "eGroupware-egw-pear 1.6.001" and not "egw-pear 1.6.001". Thus packages eGroupware-filemanager-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm etc. causes dependency errors. Otherwise e.g. eGroupware-emailadmin-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm requires "eGroupware-egw-pear 1.6.001". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: (1) # rpm -Uhv --test 'opensuse/repositories/server:/eGroupWare/openSUSE_11.0/noarch/eGroupware-core-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm' (2) # rpm -Uhv --test 'opensuse/repositories/server:/eGroupWare/openSUSE_11.0/noarch/eGroupware-gallery-1.6.001-11.1.noarch.rpm' Actual Results: (1) error: Failed dependencies: /usr/bin/php is needed by eGroupware-core-1.6.001-11.1.noarch (2) error: Failed dependencies: egw-pear = 1.6.001 is needed by eGroupware-gallery-1.6.001-11.1.noarch Expected Results: (1), (2) Preparing... ########################################### [100%] -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

They no longer require /usr/bin/php, but create a symlink from /usr/bin/php --> /usr/bin/php5, as some of the command line scripts use "#!/usr/bin/php".
