https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=657149 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=657149#c0 Summary: "Oops!..."-message on shutdown, unmounting failed ! Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: micha.schwabe@googlemail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=403168) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=403168) output of mount, dmesd and /etc/fstab User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 Hello Bugzillas ! On shutting down,I get an "Oops!Unmounting failed...,etc."-message on the terminal-screen since a while. The unmountings of the 4 partitions, which were mounted before, seems to work(?),the "Oops!..." appears after the last unmounting message. There seems to be no critical messages on booting up or down, except this "Oops!,...".Other messages, like "clearing orphaned inodes" and "recovering the journal" are only appearing after I had to "reset" or "power off"the computer. I also have a problem,to get an USB-stick(FAT) unmounted, but not everywhere. In the Nautilus, which opens at plugging in the USB-stick,and in a terminal, unmounting works.Since the stick(or whatever) has that problem,it was named by numbers: Every time 005C-B2C0,instead of "disk",may be any adress ? Not enough, with windows/C unmounted before shutdown, the "Ooops!,..." does not appear! There seem to be no other problem, all is working. But expert-user on the openSuse-forum,recommended,to bugreport this behavior. Since not knowing, which infos do you exactly need,I will post the "mount", "etc/fstab" and the "dmesg" without the USB-stick plugged in,as an attachment. This problem(s) here seems not to be the same,as in other bugreports,so I opened a new one, hope I did all right. Can anybody help here,or is this fixed, already? Greetings! lostinspace Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reboot/shutdown 2. 3. Actual Results: The "Oops!..."-message appears, when windows/C is mounted. It does not appear, with windows/C unmounted before. Expected Results: Showing no "Oops!..."-message !
