Emptied the trash and everything worked again. Therefore, I am unable to reproduce this at this time. As for a proper backtrace there are no debuginfo packages for KDE4.2 the link on Bugs:KDE says http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/debug/ which does not have KDE4.2. I'm doing the best I can here. If I get around to it I will post to the mailing list for an actual discussion.
