When the installer appears to be stalled, and I attempt to reach busybox or view kernel messages or view error console messages with alt-F[1-12], eventually I reach a tty that I cannot leave. The cursor stays at 0,0, and no keystroke combination restores it. Neither will CAD cause reboot. The only option to escape is a power reset. The last happened on the suseconfig panel after choosing to enter no users except root. It started in text mode claiming graphics mode is not supported. I tried all tty combinations from the first installation screen and was able to return to the text installation tty successfully.
