[Bug 283824] New: The ftgl-devel package is using a wrong includepath for the freetype2 library
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=283824 Summary: The ftgl-devel package is using a wrong includepath for the freetype2 library Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.benzler@unibw.de QAContact: qa@suse.de The ftgl package requires the freetype2 library for rendering fonts in OpenGl. If you install the ftgl-devel package with yast everything works fine. But as soon as you use the ftgl lib in own projects a compile error occurs. The include path for the freetype lib insight the ftgl lib is set to /usr/include/freetype. In the current OpenSuse 10.2 freetype1 resides in this directory. The freetype2 lib, ftgl is looking for resides in the folder /usr/include/freetype2/freetype. As a workaround one can rename /usr/include/freetype to freetype1 and set a symlink for freetype with the destination /usr/include/freetype2/freetype. But then there might be some problems with stuff using the freetype1 lib. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
