This leads to a USB-related hang:
Is thias repeatable? It hangs in the allocation of a device structure in the XHCI setup. Hanging during device discovery it does not announce the new devices, which, however, are detected. That code hasn't changed in years though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

This leads to a USB-related hang:
Is thias repeatable?
It was reproducible, with and without SD card inserted, in both USB ports. I did not wait forever whether the messages might repeat, but it did not appear to recover from this hang. Thanks for the explanation. I'm not suggesting that the root cause is USB, more likely a symptom of Device Tree, memory reservations, IOMMU, missing PMIC drivers in initrd or something else. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
