Niederwimmer <gjn@gjn.priv.at> 2012-11-29 09:11:44 UTC --- Hello Neil, can you tell me, why it is a different between dmraid and mdadm install. With dmraid the windows Partitions are found and included in grub2 (EFI), with mdadm not? afterward it is the same Problem, I landing in emergency mode, but with dmraid it is not possible to boot the system. The install and first boot is OK. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

For a start, please forget about trying dmraid. It will not work reliably with your configuration. Just focus on mdadm. You say that, when configured with mdadm, it often doesn't boot successfully. Can you give me any details about what happens when it isn't successful? Maybe a photo of the console? What are the last few messages? I don't know much about grub2 so I cannot answer your question in comment #10. Let's just focus on getting the system to boot reliably with mdadm. Once that is achieved with can worry about other issues. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
