[Bug 817532] New: Amarok don't send the scrobbling to Last.fm
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=817532 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=817532#c0 Summary: Amarok don't send the scrobbling to Last.fm Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: varyheavy@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 I use Amarok (actually, version 2.7.0-14.52 of Packman repository) and I have a Last.fm account configured in Amarok to send the scrobbling, but when I close Amarok and open again, the Last.fm configuration dissapears and I am forced to re-enter username and password to send Amarok played tracks to my Last.fm account. This happens every time I open Amarok. I tried the same in Kubuntu, in which this problem does not exist. Amarok in Kubuntu send scrobbling successfully to my Last.fm account. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Amarok and configure the Last.fm complement with an user (and password). 2. Close Amarok and open again. 3. Play a track and check by Last.fm website that Amarok does not send the played track. 4. (Optional) When you open Amarok again you can see that in the Last.fm complement settings, user and password fields are empty. Actual Results: Amarok forces to enter Last.fm username and password each time you open it to send scrobbling to Last.fm. Expected Results: Should suffice to enter username and password only once in Amarok. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
