This caused systemd to go zo emergency mode, but the error message (timeout mounting fs) did only apprear, when I removed the quite option from the grub2 entry. The other thing is, that the systemd showed the emergency mode entry message, but no login prompt showed up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a mispelled enty in fstab 2. Reboot the sytem 3. Actual Results: Error message does not show up. Systemd shows message that emergency mode is entered. Login prompt does not appear Everythings repeaster after some time.
