[Bug 343186] New: KDE4 online repository corrupt
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343186 Summary: KDE4 online repository corrupt Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Update Problems AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: aaronw@doofus.org QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer Created an attachment (id=184147) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=184147) Support file. I am having problems installing most updates from the KDE4 online repository at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4/openSUSE_10.3/ I run yast2 sw_single then set the filter to Package Groups and select zzz All then All in this List->Update if newer version is available. Immediately it says there is a conflict with kdebase4-nsplugin-3.96.0-2.2.i586[KDE4] saying that kdebase4-3.93.0.svn720100-3.3.x86_64 is needed by kdebase4-nsplugin-3.96.0-2.2.i586[KDE4] (kdebase4 == 3.93.0.svn720100-3.3) and glibc-32bit-2.6.1-18.3.x86_64 is needed by kdebase4-nsplugin-3.96.0-2.2.i586[KDE4](libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3)) I tell it do not install kdebase4-nsplugin and OK -- Try Again, which passes. I then click Check and have Autocheck selected and everything passes. Next I click Accept where it says it is adding kde4-kmail Mail Client 3.96.0-1.9 and continue. It first fails with Installation of package /x86_64/nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-2.3.x86_64.rpm failed. Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 623: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed! Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 623: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed! error: %trigger(nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-2.3.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 127 --- 2007-11-20 17:11:59 libqt4-devel-4.3.2-19.1.x86_64.rpm installed ok 2007-11-20 17:12:06 libsoprano4-1.97.1-2.3.x86_64.rpm installed ok 2007-11-20 17:12:07 soprano-1.97.1-2.3.x86_64.rpm installed ok 2007-11-20 17:12:09 libsoprano-devel-1.97.1-2.3.x86_64.rpm installed ok 2007-11-20 17:29:10 nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-2.3.x86_64.rpm install failed rpm output: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 623: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed! Next,it starts downloading files, but fails for many saying the files are not found or that the files are corrupt. I.e. Download failed: File: ./noarch/kdegames4-carddecks-other-3.96.0-3.3.noarch.rpm not found on media: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4/openSUSE_10.3/ I select OK followed by another dialog that says basically the same thing with Retry Abort Skip. I choose Skip. Next one that fails is ./x86_64/libkde4-3.96.0-2.1.x86_64.rpm then libkcompactdisk4-3.96.0-1.9.x86_64.rpm and it keeps going on with most files missing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
