But since you're shipping Python 2.5 together with python-ldap 2.2.0 you SHOULD look into this bug causing crashes: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1575329&group_id=2072&atid=102072 I'd recommend to provide an updated package of python-ldap based on release 2.2.1.
