It worked in openSUSE 11.4. Installing alsa-driver-kmp-default-1.0.24.20120112_k3.1.0_1.2-1.1.i586.rpm from OBS multimedia:/audio:/KMP fixes the problem although there were some warnings (see attachment). I'm attaching the output of alsa-info.sh of the fresh installation and after installing alsa-driver-kmp-default. It might have been already fixed in the latest 3.1.x tree, though. The warnings of alsa-driver-kmp is OK as long as you don't use these affected modules. These are from other tree, so the updated module causes some problem. I'll try to fix it later. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Meanwhile, the problem could have been worked around by passing model=auto. Eventually this is the same as the upstream development (i.e. alsa-driver-kmp); the static quirks for ALC268 have been dropped and all replaced with the auto-parser. Anyway, thanks for reporting. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
