Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Searching for a solution, I found out, that there was not generated a kde.desktop file for /usr/share/xsessions. I copied the kde.desktop file from a openSUSE 12.3 with KDE3. Now the entry occurs at displaymanager und KDE3 starts. This openSUSE was an update over all milestone until the latest one. For my installation I can't say if I didn't install kdebase3-session or I didn't change kde3-packages from opensuse-oss-repo to kde3-repo, which provides the complete kde3-desktop. My friend who installed opensuse 13.1 RC2 from DVD image updated this installation and suddenly he has KDE3 in login-manager without manual correction.
