https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=245830 ------- Comment #1 from mfabian@novell.com 2007-02-15 09:49 MST ------- Stefan's workstation “Shannon” runs Factory-i386. He uses a KDE session. In the KDE control centre: → Internet & Network → Desktop Sharing Uninvited Connections [x] Allow uninvited connections [x] Announce service on the network [ ] Confirm uninvited connections before accepting [x] Allow uninvited connections to control the desktop Password: ●●●●●●●● -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=245830 ------- Comment #2 from mfabian@novell.com 2007-02-15 09:51 MST ------- Connecting with “vncviewer shannon:1” works both remotely and on shannon to itself. *But*, although “Confirm uninvited connections before accepting” is disabled, a dialog box to confirm the connection always pops up on the KDE desktop in shannon before one can connect. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

(Other problems occur on x86_64, see bug #245811, but not this one). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
