https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=228863 Summary: Problem with display size Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: ra100@atlas.cz QAContact: qa@suse.de Hello I´ve installed suse 10.2.I have problem with display size(not resolution) I´m trying change display size in sax2 to 17" monitor,but nothing change.so i´ve tried change display size to 15" or 30" monitor but still nothing change.I´ve checked xorg.There is display size changed,but after restart X-windows nothing.Still is the same. In 10.1 it worked well. I´ve got Asus Nvidia GeForce 6600 AGP,monitor is LCD Prestigio P 1710 P.S. i haven´t installled propietary driver by nvidia yet. I didn´t have to change iconsize manual in 10.1. I think the NVIDIA driver relies on the data it gets from the monitor (which might be completely different and even bogus for some monitors). If you want to force using the DisplaySize settings in xorg.conf you probably need to set the appropriate driver option in xorg.conf.
