And.. on this bios, other linux-distributions(mandriva, debian 4.0, debian 5.0, ubuntu 7.10 - 8.10) are also not installed. only ubuntu 8.04 for amd64 version works perfectly. I`d known this problem from about 1 and half years. but my english and knowledge about computer are too poor to explain this in detail. so i just wait for fluent someone reporting. or, prefect opensuse( to me ;;) version. using unstable bios... but...sigh...there is not anyone who did it.. and.. opensuse 11.1 was out.. nothing changed... so, i wrote this big report spending so many times with dictionanry. please don`t disregard my report.. i want to use opensuse in normal conditions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.boot with opensuse live-cd. 2.select 1 (normal install). Actual Results: 3.I can see the 'kernel-loading progress bar'. 4.After the end of 'kernel-loading progress bar', Screen is changed to blank(black screen). at the same time, computer is freezed. 5.any key(Caps lock, Num Lock, Cntrl+Alt+Del)is not functioned. can`t get any information about this situation from my computer. I can not but help pressing reset button. Expected Results: i just want to install opensuse on my computer!!!! m2a481-og has sold as " Legend Unitec - 480x magic " in korea. Because of bios crash, m2a481-og is known as very unstabl product. so that, Jetway and Unitec have released various version of bios update. this is the reason why I want to install opensuse on updated bios. (latest version for m2a481-og is a09). After edit and merge Jetway`s bios somewhat , Unitec released their bios. but, both editions are almost same. These are released as E01,E02,E03.... (latest version for 480x magic is E07.1) I can`t know version histoy of Jetway`s bios. Except a09, there are not downlad-service for versions of the past in their hompage anymore. But i can translate Untec`s roughly for you. and I think this is relevant to this bug. E01 : it did not released for user.
