Hanssen <terje@nordland-teknikk.no> 2011-02-16 19:21:48 UTC --- For five years or more I've practiced common $HOME for multi-boot (open)SUSEs/SLED, currently 11.3/11.4/11SP3. The only minor issue that might happend just the first login after switching distro/version, has been a message something like the OpenOffice "setup" is busy, do you wish to continue? Still memorizing, a more correct popup message content happened more similar like "Your personal Openoffice setup looks to be locked by another user. That's right, version 8 in 11.3 and version 9 in 11.4
I would suggest to twist your setup so that you copy right extensions.db (and possibly other .db files in .libreoffice) at the login time. Or even whole .libreoffice directory.
Looks like LibO won't start if renaming $HOME/.libreoffice to something else. Just a thought: Wouldn't it be more robust if LibO created a new default libreoffice at startup if it didn't find that directory structure? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The Berkeley Db errors are caused by incompatible db versions unsed on openSUSE-11.3 and 11.4. It looks similar to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566679 2. I have seen the error file:///home/terje/.libreoffice/3-suse/user/basic/script.xlc/ with an early LO-3.3 beta build. It helped me to remove the user configuration (~/.libreoffice) and start LO again. I did not see it again. I am not sure what caused it. It was either a particular broken build or it happened during migration of the old OOo configuration to LO. In both cases, should help to remove the user configuration. Note that you have stop LO and quickstarter before you remove it. It would have some strange effects if you remove it when LO or quickstarter is running. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
