If I'm not completely mistaken, the config file should life in ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig-1/Default.ini; can you verify if this file is exists too?
While you're running compiz and enable plugins using ccsm, do they start at
No directory ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig-1 don't exist, only ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig (without "-1"). Default.ini file lives there. Sholud i try to "cp ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig/Default.ini ~/.config/compiz/compizconfig-1/Default.ini" ? this time? No they don't.
maybe attach ~/.xsessions-errors

those are NOT the compiz packages that are shipped with openSUSE 11.2. Please check with rpm -qi compiz what repository they come from (the last line, distribution) should give a hint there. The report will have to go against the project the package comes from. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

May be you give me an advice, howto install packages shipped with OpenSUSE 11.2
Disable the repository X11:XGL in your repo list. Then using yast / software management search from compiz and install all the packages from the OSS repository (they are at version 0.7.8, so you will have to downgrade). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

No whitelisted driver found
What type of graphic card are you running there??? compiz-manager refuses to start on your system, normally for good reasons. please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
