then remove openmpi-libs-32bit alltogether - it's uninstallable.
AFAICT, it is _not_ installable. So why is it present at all in some Leap 42.2 repo? (It's a higher version than the one in the Leap 42.1 repos, which apparently doesn't have that dependency on libpsm_infinipath.so.1) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

This was fixed in Factory: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/443003 But never submitted into maintenance. Submitted into maintenance myself: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/481015
Tony, to save you from live bugzilla tweeting your testing, please wait until the request above is accepted and the incident below is locked. https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Maintenance:6478
Well, when I came up today, I saw a new version of the patch, which updated two -32bit packages, and "zypper lu -a" now finally lists patch 6478 as "applied". I see you set the bug to RESOLVED FIXED, I VERIFY that the fix works on Leap 42.2. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

As always, thanks for testing updates from the test update repository, and for verifying the above.
No problem. :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
