This causes screen corruption as shown in the screenshot. I think its not new, I noticed this sort of corruption also in 10.2 and earlier. The defaultdepth in 10.2 is 24, not 16. The computer was still responsive, I was able to switch to text console and when I switched back, everything started to work correctly; however, normal user would be lost. Graphics card: nVidia NV44 (GeForce 6200 TurboCache, rev.
