Unfortuately after booting "/etc/init.d/ntp status" only shows the LOCAL source. And the file /var/run/ntp/servers-netconfig does not exist. Running "netconfig -v update" manually fixes the problem. I have enabled debugging and see now the following in the log. dhcpcd call the dhcpcd-hook script with "new" and netconfig is running. It say, that it creates /var/run/ntp/servers-netconfig . Then dhcpcd-hook is called again with "down" and again with "up". Both runs look like that netconfig is not called. Peter: remove the cleanup in your ntp init-script. This is done by boot.cleanup.
