Installation completes successfully, but when reboot Grub does not load the OS and receive error message Error 25 from Grub. The problem is Grub is setup to load from the wrong hard disk drive (hd1 when it should be hd0). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install openSUSE 11.4 RC2 64bit with default settings. 2.Reboot after installation completes. 3.Grub fails to load OS. Ive used this method in the past. Repair bootloader using this method grub grub> find /boot/grub/menu.ls
returned (hd0,1) grub> root (hd0,1) returned Filesystem type is .... grub>setup (hd0) returned ....succeeded grub>quit
