The other direction works. The reason is commit 5e322ff7de454404976368d00049b3b5773538a8 in kdepim3-runtime repository. meanwhile it has already been reverted in the KDE 4.8 branch with commit 14c7de0e97a835b04af600b11b1d88ccfcfe696f.
